Genevieve Friedmann

MSW, LCSW (she/her)

Hi, I’m Genevieve! And I’m here to offer a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, helping you figure out what you really want from life, relationships, and the future.

I specialize in supporting folks with relationship issues, anxiety, grief, shame, guilt, and trauma. And I'm particularly passionate about helping people find confidence in their sexual identities and experiences—with advanced training in sexual health and sex therapy.

I love working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, helping them improve understanding, communication, and intimacy. As a queer therapist, I feel honored to work within my community and get to know your unique experiences and identity.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I'm not just here to nod along—I'll be actively engaged, giving you kind and honest feedback. And while therapy can dive into some heavy stuff, don't worry—we can have a good laugh or two along the way.

If you're tired of feeling stuck in the same old patterns and are ready to make positive changes, let’s chat.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

$125 — 55 min.

For individuals ready to tackle the ups and downs of the human experience—whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, identity issues, self-esteem, relationships, life changes, or grief, this is a judgment-free space where you can be yourself.

We'll chat about whatever's on your mind and work through it together, making sure you feel comfortable as we dig into the tough stuff. We'll work side by side to help you reach your goals and find a clearer path forward.

COUPLES THERAPY

$150 — 55 min.

For partners looking to work on their relationship together. Open to all relationship types, orientations, and structures, including LGBTQ+ couples. Whether you're monogamous, polyamorous, in a triad, ethically non-monogamous, open, or exploring these possibilities, you'll find a knowledgeable and accepting space here to address your relationship concerns.

All relationship structures are respected, and we'll focus on what's important to you.

SEX THERAPY

$125/$150 — 55 min.

Similar to individual or couples therapy but with a special focus on sex and sexuality. We only discuss topics you're comfortable with, and we'll always move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're looking to address specific concerns or just want to include these discussions in our broader work, we're here to go at your pace.

We can talk about things like desire concerns, desire differences, kink, BDSM, sexual trauma, chronic illness and sex, to name a few. If you have any questions, please ask!
